Terms and definitions

For the purposes of this document, the following terms and definitions apply. They should be added to the list in 19775-1:2015 Terms, definitions, acronyms, and abbreviations, 3.1.x.

document object model (DOM)

text for DOM

execution environment or environment

the environment where X3D is running. It is eiter DOM or Classic. DOM is refers to an HTML5-compatible environment. All other environemnts are Classic.

JavaScript

ECMAScript running in the context of a DOM environment and not in an X3D Script node.

Acronyms and abbreviations

For the purposes of this document, the following expansion of acronyms and abbreviations apply. They should be added to the list in 19775-1:2015& Terms, definitions, acronyms, and abbreviations, 3.2.x.
